Book light cover

Daughter Lucky is an avid reader.  She can spend hours in a bookstore drooling over books she wants to buy---kinda like me in a fabric store!  She asked me to make her a sleeve for her booklight.  This booklight is very cool.  It is called a Light Wedge. It comes in 2 sizes, paperback size and magazine size.  She has the paperback size.
It's not really smudgy; it's just reflecting the ceiling fan above.

Here it is in action. It lights up the entire page.
Edit:  for those who have asked, I bought this at Barnes and Noble book store but can also be found online at http://www.lightwedge.com/

She asked that "I heart books" be incorporated into the quilting. Luckily, my machine can do this.

That's all for now.  Talk at you later!

  1. I heart fabric and books. I've never seen the light wedge. Cute cover. I think you could start selling these wherever Light Wedges are sold!

  4. So happy I found you. I love your little book bag. I am not much of a reader but I love to listen to books on my IPod touch, love to download them from the library.
Have to find one of those lights for my sister she would love it.
