knit cap

Hello Friends,
I hope your holidays were wonderful.  We had a wet Christmas day but who cares! It was Christmas!
2010 is looming right around the corner and hopes are high that it will be a great year.

I have not had as much time to craft lately but did find time to knit this pretty roll brim hat.  Please pardon the makeshift hat stand.

I like the way it looks from the top.  The decreasing stitches used to shape the top makes a nice swirl pattern.

My father is currently going through cancer treatments and there is a basket of donated hats in the waiting room for ladies going through chemo threrapy.  Add one more.

  9. Daer Rumi,
I am so sorry to hear about your Father's illness. I will include him in my prayers. The hat is a Rumi beautifully constructed object of art, as usual. My sister recieved a prayer shaw yesterday, she has breast cancer and is are in the early stages of trying to figure out what to do.
Be well, and let me know if I can do something to help. Robin
