Blue Scrap Quilt

Here is a blue scrap quilt I made about a year ago. My daughter needed a wedding gift in a hurry. She had searched for a couple of months for a nice gift that was within her budget but couldn't find anything she liked. She called me and I got on it super fast!
I didn't have time to get it quilted or attempt to quilt it myself so I ended up tying it. I'm told her friend loves it and I am pleased.

    wow - i love the squares set on point...how was the tying? that's what i want to do with my bow tie unfinished top but i'm not sure where to even start...

    I love it! What size squares did you use? How did tying go? Did your daughter offer to come and do housework in exchange? (hint hint)

    Nothing beats a lovely quilt for a gift...

    LOL I have a daughter who calls me in last minute too. The prom is tomorrow so I found myself highlighting her hair last night and I am no hairdresser! I love the way you can see the fabrics clearly like an I-spy sort of quilt for grown ups. I'm glad it is loved- every quilt deserves a loving cherished home.

    Gorgeous! I like scrappy quilts. I love the deep hues that you've chosen for your blocks and how it pops because of the white background.
