Cute huh! Well there's more. The fun part was decorating it!
If I was one to decorate for various holidays (and I'm not--with the exception of Christmas) I would make a bunch of these in different pastel colors and hang them somewhere in the house. A friend said she used to get a pretty branch from her yard and spraypaint it. I guess it would then be secured to something and Easter decorations would be hung from it. Sounds cute!
Short and sweet post today! Talk at you later! Rumi
Definitely CUTE!!! Love the decorations and what a pretty blue. Are you sure you don't want to make dozens of them to decorate your house with...egg trees in the bathroom...perhaps a mini egg tree for Farah?
ReplyDeleteOh that is so sweet, what a pretty blue and love the decorations!
ReplyDeleteOh Stephanie, you funny girl you!
ReplyDeleteFor my blog friends, Stephanie knows I am NOT a decorator and not a big knick knack fan LOL. Also, Farrah is my sweet little old pup!
What a cute idea! Yes I would make a few of them and ....hang on a minute I did a bunch in bright felt colours...durrr. Ok my excuse is they are behind my birthday cards so I haven't seen them for a while. OK? So so not losing it. LOL Great idea though to knit them too. Like you I would enjoy the decorating part best.
ReplyDeleteThe egg is great! And I have seen people do that with the branch. They just put it in a nice vase and put some of those marbles in the base to hold it steady and then hang the eggs from it. Looks really sweet!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute. Love your header too. It always makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very cute egg.
ReplyDeleteI've seen fabric eggs.. but this is the prettiest knitted egg ever. Love that shade of blue. And Stephanie is a hoot. :-)
